Lord, guide me as I prepare for this test.
Help me to be at my best.
This is like a recital, but answering questions.
Provide me with peace and presence of mind,
to be calm and alert during this situation.
Lord, a good job I hope I can find.

Thank you for this chance you bestow.
I want to share the Holy Spirit, in all its glow.

Lord, I thank You for the gift of your assistance
throughout my course up to another beginning.
Forgive me for the times of weakness and resistance
to Your will. I now know that truly winning
means accepting and fulfilling Your divine plan.
Lead me through the next set of challenges
and provide direction toward a career which can
bring me closer to You, closer to heaven.
I want to share with You all my joy from your
graces. Always give me hope even
in the times when scarce is an open door.

Lord, please bestow upon me the gift

Reflection on the Passion

Lord, You lost millions of drops of blood due to the blows
of my sins. You fell three times due to the immense weight
of my sins. Your Mother shed millions of tears at the sight
of You, especially at Your death. Lord, You chose this for us to be close
to You, from here on earth to Your home, heaven. If only I can kiss
the thousands of wounds You bore...while it is You who heal this
wound, this void of mine - physical, mental, and spiritual. If only
I can hear Your cry to the Father in that pain-filled, lonely
voice...while it is You who heeds my wailing. If only I can wipe
Your beaten face as Veronica did... while You wipe away the mud
that stains me. If only I can help carry Your cross but I am sorry
for my weakness...it is always You who aids me to lift mine.
If only I can gaze into Your eyes of mercy and tell You of my
meager love...while You always look at me with compassion.
Lord, my life is nothing compared to Your sorrowful Passion,
but I am ever grateful even for each big or little sacrifice,
because then, I am united with You and I know, that just as You
have risen from the dead, I can everyday be reborn anew,
dead to sin, but ever alive with peace that comes from only You.

for having strayed from righteousness.

Lord, thank You for the beauty - physical and spiritual -
that surrounds me. Thank You for the joys shared with mutual
company. Thank You for the light You ignite within us all.
Lord, here I now am, trying to heed Your divine call.
Here I am, open to Your Holy Spirit, to your graces.
Help me to see You in friends' and strangers' faces.
I pray not only for my personal intentions, but also
those of other pilgrims who plead to You. I know

Lord, I pray for the jobless that they find work to
feed themselves and their families, to fulfill
their potential, and to serve others and You.

Lord, I pray for a job - guide my soul not to desire
financial wealth, but fulfillment of my potential
through service to others. May the Holy Spirit's fire
continue to endow me with gifts, so I shall
accomplish my duties, especially to You, my Master.

Lord, life consists of journeys and is itself one.
In the trip I am about to take, let me fly on
angels' wings. With Your blanket of love, keep

Lord, we usually say that youth are our future.
Thus, with Your guidance, help us nurture
our teens. May all teens in the world be free
yet understand their limits and avoid sin.
May all teens in the world find love, yet
understand that it is not only eros, but can
also be found in God, family, and friends;
if they also find partners, help them to see
God in each other and grow together in respect
of body, mind, and soul; if they get broken
hearts, help them to heal and find strength within.
Open their eyes to the horizon that never ends;
fuel their belief in You and in themselves so
that they will fulfill their potential as they grow.
May they realize the importance of virtues
and toward The Way, may they ever choose.

Prayer for Patience through Technology's Tough Times

Lord, human technology is like humans - imperfect.
Sometimes, malfunction occurs, and most of us get stuck.
So, Lord, I realize more of my awe and respect
for You, as well as the need for patience - acceptance of luck
or fate - and balance in time management,
which may require creativity. I lift up to You this predicament,
so that You may guide me through it. I also realize that I
should always turn to You and less on technology rely.

Prayer for the Recovery of Lost Items

Lord, I acknowledge that I am human - that my
mind is not always present and that I am not always
organized. Please help me find the things I've lost.
Enlighten my mind. I lift this matter into Thy
hands. Nevertheless, lead me to prioritize the ways
and the things to seek: Thou art foremost.
