Graduand's Prayer

Lord, I thank You for the gift of your assistance
throughout my course up to another beginning.
Forgive me for the times of weakness and resistance
to Your will. I now know that truly winning
means accepting and fulfilling Your divine plan.
Lead me through the next set of challenges
and provide direction toward a career which can
bring me closer to You, closer to heaven.
I want to share with You all my joy from your
graces. Always give me hope even
in the times when scarce is an open door.

Amen.

Prayer Before a Journey

Lord, life consists of journeys and is itself one.
In the trip I am about to take, let me fly on
angels' wings. With Your blanket of love, keep
me safe. Wherever I go, may Your blessings
flow, within and around me. May the deep
joy of heaven ever teach my soul to sing:
Thank You for the opportunity to travel,
to see Your bounty everywhere, and marvel.
Guide me in every baby step and every leap.

Prayer about Stage Fright

Lord, please calm me down as I perform

in public. Ease my mind and heart; give

me courage to face the people. Help me

to enhance my talents, not as a form

of boastfulness, but as an opportunity

to offer them all back to you. May I relive

these moments not always with regret

but as good lessons I would never forget.

Night Prayer

Lord, thank You for this day: for all
the blessings You have bestowed
upon me, the opportunities I have been
given serve You, and the hardships - also
the downfalls - I have undergone.
Forgive me for all the wrong I have done,
The hurt I have caused, the foe
I may not yet have forgiven, the unseen
negativity - such as thoughts. Indeed, borrowed
is this day from You, with its big and small
moments. As I now go to sleep, I pray for Your
protection. Yet if You will it that tomorrow will
never come for me, bring me to Your door
and let my wish for heaven be fulfilled.
