Lord, thank You for my sleep and for the angel who
Watched over me the night before.
Thank You for the blessings I can now identify
And for those that are yet to come today.
Lord, bless this day so new
And bless me up to my needy core
So that as time marches by,
In my hands it would not waste away.
Help me in my service to You
While I desire You more;
Help me to always try
To serve others in what I do and say.
Lord, may Your angel guide and guard me through
This day. Open my soul's door,
And my life's purpose, please sanctify.
Little by little, lead me down Your golden way.
Amen.
