people - men, women, and children -
who suffer the torture
of starvation. Listen
to their cries for help. Send
your messengers, your disciples
to their aid, to end
their hunger. May ripples
of goodness spread from
town to region, democracy to kingdom.
Lord, you told Simon Peter to
feed your sheep. Guide me to continue
this mission literally, as I have faith that a
banquet awaits me in heaven, for which I pray.
Amen.
