Prayer for Political Leaders

Lord, I pray for the leaders of our community

That they promote unity,

Justice, peace, and cooperation

Among our people, including the young ones.

Lord, I pray for all those daughters and sons -

For their protection,

For guidance in their every decision,

Every word, and every action.

Lord, I pray that they continue

Their commitment to the poor and

Suffering, as well as to You.

Lord, I pray for better leaders in every land.
