try to determine my path, enrich
my knowledge, and develop my
talents. Help me fulfill my dreams
yet teach me to avoid greed and
pride. Lead me to choose the way which
would make me extend my heart and hand
to those in need, knowing that streams
of goodwill feed into a river of glory that
heads to You, though its route may not
be straight. I offer these sacrifices to
You and entrust my hopes as well
in You. Thank You for my teachers who
support me in my journey. May I not dwell
in failure but stand and work again - Your
arms pull me up and bless my steps. Give
me enlightenment and open the door
of my soul to You while I breathe, while I live.
